How We are Reducing Our Carbon Footprint

We believe in bringing people together to take action to protect our planet.

That's why we partnered with One Tree Planted, a non-profit dedicated to global reforestation, to plant trees.

They raise awareness about the importance of trees and offer a sustainable solution that everyone can participate in to do something positive for the environment.

When you register for eTail, we automatically donate £1 to One Tree Planted on your behalf. But you can get involved too!

You can donate to One Tree Planted and contribute to our goal of planting over 9,000 trees.

Our Sustainability Commitment

  • Partner with venues that have a robust sustainability policy.
  • Source locally produced food where possible and minimise waste.
  • Go paperless where possible – all information is available on our conference app.
  • Use sustainable items e.g. reusable lanyards and badge holders, recyclable signage, reusable décor.
  • Eliminate plastic water bottles where possible.
  • Promote public / shared transport routes for attendees and our staff.
  • Collaborate with suppliers local to the venue and use their resources to reduce the volume of materials shipped.

5 Tips for attending eTail sustainably

  • Research the most carbon-efficient travel options to the conference and consider using rail. Most rail networks provide Wi-Fi, so you can still get your work done even if your journey takes a little longer.
  • Download the conference app to avoid printing documents.
  • Use the recycling stations at the conference. You can return your lanyard and badge for reuse and recycling.
  • Plan meetings before the conference to make the most of your trip.
  • Consider planting more trees via OneTreePlanted.
